Enter business and customer details

Start with the seller name, address, email, phone number, and logo if you use one. Add the customer's legal or trading name and the contact details they need for their records.

Set invoice dates and numbering

Give each invoice a clear, unique invoice number. Add the issue date and, when you offer payment terms, a due date. Consistent numbering makes invoice history and follow-up easier.

Add products or services

  1. Describe each product or service in plain language.
  2. Enter the quantity and unit price. The line total should reflect quantity multiplied by price.
  3. Add a discount, shipping charge, or tax only when it applies to the transaction.
  4. Check the subtotal and final total before adding notes or payment instructions.

Make the invoice easy to pay

  • Include bank, UPI, or other payment instructions that your customer recognizes
  • Add a due date and late-payment terms when they are part of your agreement
  • Use notes for delivery details, project references, or a short thank-you
  • Choose a clean template and upload a readable logo
